EtherInsights — cost and control in the Microsoft estate

EtherInsights is the operational view of a customer's Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows 365: what it costs, what has drifted, and what needs to be dealt with. ARJ Distribution distributes it in the Nordics: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. We sell exclusively through resellers and MSPs, never direct to the end customer.

What it covers

• Microsoft 365 and Azure cost. Finds unused licences and oversized Azure resources, builds savings reports with an owner and a next action, and shows cost trends with alerts on anomalies. VM rightsizing against actual workload patterns, with SKU and reservation recommendations.
• Security and maturity. Secure Score, Zero Trust pillars, conformance checks and Copilot readiness across five vectors.
• User lifecycle. Risky identities, onboarding and offboarding, with evidence kept per action.
• Intune and tenant. Around thirty Intune reports, a per-device troubleshooting view, CVE lookup, tenant backup, drift detection and per-policy restore.
• Windows 365. The full Cloud PC lifecycle, plus migration baselines from Azure Virtual Desktop or older VDI.
• AI. EtherAssist is included, and can among other things produce PowerShell actions for the security findings the reports surface.

What you can sell it against

• The cloud bill nobody owns. Unused licences and forgotten Azure resources leak money every month without anyone seeing it. The report with an owner and a next action is what makes something actually happen.
• The quarterly review that needs a basis. The same audit pack runs across all your customers, with the trend over time. It is an ongoing conversation that is not about selling them something new.
• The MSP rebuilding a spreadsheet every quarter. One platform across several customer tenants instead of one spreadsheet per customer.
• The customer heading for Windows 365. A baseline before the move, sizing after it, and cost per user group against what AVD or VDI used to cost.

Price and licensing

• Single licence: recommended retail price 1 euro per licence per month, or 11 euro per licence per year. The annual subscription is paid in advance and is therefore slightly cheaper.
• Campus licence: get in touch if the customer is large enough that it might be the right fit — we will price both.
• As a partner you get a discount on that. The prices above are recommended retail — your purchase price is lower, and you get it from us.
• One price covers the whole platform. Not per mailbox and not per feature module, and there is no cut-down entry tier.
• Volume and MSP: priced by the number of customer tenants and users. Ask us.

Try it on a real tenant

The vendor's own trial is 14 days and requires a card. Come through us instead — we set you up in a partner portal, without a card, and then your terms and your deal registration follow. It is also the easiest way to show a customer the numbers from their own environment rather than a demo on somebody else's.

What counts as a licence?
That question decides the whole calculation, and we would rather give you the right answer for your customer than an approximate one here. Tell us what the customer's tenant looks like.

Is EtherAssist included?
Yes. Ask us which scope applies in your case — EtherAssist is also available as a standalone licence with more in it.

Does the customer have to install anything?
No. The connection is made to the customer's Microsoft environment with a consent step, and no new infrastructure is needed.

Can it be used across several customer tenants?
Yes, that is how it is meant for MSPs: the same audit pack and the same named owners across customers, with the trend followed over time.
